Love to volunteer? Comcast invites the community to join its volunteer efforts in Detroit

There are many great things about Detroiters. One of them is they are passionate about volunteering to help others.

With that in mind we wanted to share an opportunity to participate in numerous service opportunities in metro Detroit Saturday, April 23 through Sunday, April 30. You can join Comcast employees, friends, family and other community partners during the company’s15th annual Comcast Care Day.

“We can all make a difference in the lives of others,” says Tim Collins, regional senior vice president for Comcast’s Heartland Region, which includes Michigan. “That’s why we’re inviting the community to join us in these volunteer efforts. Making change happen in the communities we serve has always been important to our employees, and by coming together we can be even more impactful.”

  1. All this volunteering is great! If you're a therapist or medical professional interested in professional athletes and volunteering then look into volunteering for Team USA at the Olympics. Just another awesome volunteering opportunity to add to the list :)
