The Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP) at Michigan State University (MSU) recruits, trains, and inspires tomorrow’s public policy leaders, preparing them with vision, commitment, and the skills for effective governance. YNN interviewed guest speakers Eugene Robinson and Ari Fleischer.

Mr. Robinson writes a twice-weekly column on politics and culture for The Washington Post and contributes to the PostPartisan blog. He won the Pulitzer Price for Commentary in 2009 for his columns focusing on the 2008 presidential campaign.

Mr. Fleischer was primary spokesperson for President George W. Bush. He served as White House Press Secretary during the presidential recount, September 11, two wars and an anthrax attack. He’s now president of Ari Fleischer Communications, Inc.
