High Speed rail comes to Detroit in the New Center/Midtown area

Yesterday we were at the announcement of a new “high speed” rail corridor from Detroit to Chicago by Secretary Ray LaHood, which will not only cut transit time but get improved rolling stock (railroad cars), smoother track and other infrastructure improvements as part of a $200 million dollar package to the state of Michigan.
