If 2010 WYCD Downtown Hoedown headliner Steve Azar (hits include “I Don’t Have to Be Me ‘Til Monday,” & “Waitin’ on Joe”) looks familiar, it may be because he’s spent a lot of time in Michigan. “Enough to say I’m from here,” he said to Detroit Unspun.
He wasn’t entirely joking — from having business connections here to co-headlining his last tour with Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, this honorary Michigander had some great things to say about the Detroit region and the state as a whole.
