If you happened to be at the Tigers game this past Thursday, May 13th (yes, the one where the Tigers beat the Yankees 6-0) — the shutout isn’t the only thing worth remembering. Singing the national anthem that night were three sisters from Down Under who are taking the world by storm in the country scene — Brooke, Samantha, and Mollie, otherwise known as The McClymonts.
Not only did they play at the official pre-party later that night, but they were the first to take the big stage at opening day of the Downtown Hoedown. Detroit Unspun got a chance to talk to them about country music in Australia versus the United States, their impressions of the Metro Detroit area, and their new single, “Save Yourself.” These gals are a lot of fun, check them out:
